Yes I know its gone overboard today(a bit ??), but its nice to start off the New year this way :) Today I'm reviewing Revlon Superlustrous Lipstick in the shade Cha Cha Cherry.I personally like Revlon because of the quality it offers,though being a drugstore brand. Cha Cha Cherry is a pretty coral pink color that compliments Indian skintones very well.I was looking for a pink lipstick with warm undertones which is when I stumbled upon this shade at a Revlon Counter in Lifestyle a year back.It was love at first sight when I tried the shade on me & bought it immediately.Now let us analyse Revlon Cha Cha Cherry...

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- My take on the product:
The Super Lustrous range of lipsticks are a much raved about products of Revlon..There are about 72 shades to choose from(Husbands/Fathers/Brothers beware !!!!!) and the shades are divided into finishes such as Frost, Creme,Pearl and Matte. Recently another 10 more shades have been introduced & the Frost finish has been removed & replaced with Shine.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- Packaging:
Revlon Cha Cha Cherry comes in a black shining case with a golden band in the centre and the name REVLON printed on it.The shade number, name & finish is printed at the bottom of the lipstick and the top portion has a transparent part where the shade can be seen & identified.Though it looks a bit old fashioned/traditional it is one of the cutest lipsticks in my vanity.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- Shade:
Cha Cha Cherry is a nice reddish pink shade in the tube as well as when you swatch it on yr arms or apply it on your lips.We have all heard of the phrase Appearances can be deceptive but Cha Cha Cherry doesn't deceive us in anyway with respect to the shade.According to me, this shade will suit both warm toned & cool toned skintones.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- Color Payoff & Texture:
Revlon Cha Cha Cherry is extremely pigmented, one swipe is enough to give us the off to office look... but when you want to wear it for functions or parties you can layer it.The finish reads frost but I feel this particular lipstick should come under creme finish because it glides smoothly on my dry lips and gives a moisturised effect.The lipstick wears off in about 1 to 2 hours with eating in between but it settles into the fine lines & gives a horrible effect after few hours. I make sure I wear some lipgloss or lip balm on top of it to prevent this. I find this settling into fine lines & uneven wearing off a major fallback with Cha cha Cherry.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- Quantity & Price:
The total weight of the product is 4.2 gms and the price is Rs 550.For the quality it offers, the price I feel is lesser than other brands.

2: Moisturizing property of the lipstick
3: Classic & Compact packaging
4: Price is relatively cheaper than other brands for the quality it offers.
Pros of Cha Cha Cherry:
1: Pretty shade ; choice for bridal wear too
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry- Cons:
1: Settles into fine lines if my lips were not moisturised well.
2: Doesnt wear out evenly.
3: Transfers very quickly.. I applied it & went for breakfast & it was almost gone :(

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cha Cha Cherry-Overall Verdict : 4/5
Revlon Cha Cha Cherry does moisturise our lips and make you look so cherryshable(!!!!) but after an hour completely vanishes from my lips.If Revlon plans to change Cha Cha Cherry's formula , I might repurchase it though :)
