I have seen a lot of BB creams come with the tagline 8 in 1 benefits and maybe sometimes toothpastes too !!!
But now a 3 in 1 Cleanser, Scrub and a masque in one tube.. I did not think much and just grabbed the Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleaser, Scrub and Mask during my trip to Paris & Switzerland because I was happy that it will save a lot of my time.

One of my blog readers wanted me to write a review about this and I started using it thrice a week to analyse the product. Since I have a dry face, I do not prefer to use scrubs more than thrice a week.So I used it about 6 to 7 times before I wrote this review.The product has things printed in French and I really do not know what it claims.

Claims :
Our 3-in-1 action multi-tasking cleanser - perfectly suited to sensitive and imperfection-prone skin. Can be used as a cleansing cream to reduce the appearance of sebum and impurities, a scrub to reduce the appearance of pores or a mask to help mattify the skin and clarify your complexion.
Skin is left cleansed and soothed, whilst feeling more fresh and comfortable.
Use twice daily as a cleanser/scrub: Massage onto damp face,rinse.Use weekly as a mask - apply a thin layer to the face and let dry for 5 minutes. Rinse off.
So in short , the product can be used as a scrub or as a face mask when you leave it on to dry for a while and then wash it off. I used it as a face mask for about 3 times and the rest as scrub.

Packaging :
Absolute stunner for a first impression !!! A beautiful leafy green shaded tube that is so colorful for the summer. Quite sturdy packaging for travel but it is quite bulky I must admit.The lid is a perfect one and it is easy to handle.

The scrub comes in a pista green shade with mild granules for scrubbing. The consistency is quite thick and you need to make efforts to apply it uniformly in case using it as a mask. I have an avocado mask by St.Ives which has a similar consistency. When I used it as a face mask, it dried very quickly and did not let my skin stretch freely. I sprayed some rose water from a spray bottle and let it stay on for some more time. Otherwise it dries quickly and it is not advised to leave it on like that because it can cause wrinkles. You can use it as a quick face mask when you are heading for a party after work. As a scrub it works mildly on the skin and the granules do not hurt the skin in any way. Use in circular upward motions and concentrate in areas like nose, chin and around the lips and exfoliate the dead cells.
Usage Outcomes :
As a scrub it worked very well and gave a perfectly clean bright face. The oil and dirt from my face was totally removed and my face looked fresh. Since my face is a bit dry on my cheeks, I followed it up with a moisturizer/coconut oil or a night cream.
As a face mask, I did not have any wonder results and it turned out similar to the scrubbing effect.It removes your tan to some extent and makes the skin clean and bright. The face remains oil free for 3 hours.I did not observe any difference in my pore size.
It did not cause any breakouts on me which was quite satisfying. I use Biotique Cucumber toner after a scrubber so that my open pores are closed.
Very overpowering strong smell that is similar to a Men's perfume. I really cannot tolerate the smell.

Conclusion :
Vichy 3 in 1 face scrub cum mask is not a wonder product but definitely comes in handy during travel since it eliminates the need to carry multiple products and gives me a squeaky clean face in minutes before I head urgently out somewhere. It can help oily skin beauties a lot as well as during summer times when your skin is filled with sweat and dust.
