Diwali is around the corner and its all about fun, happiness, colors and lights. We ladies do not need any reason for shopping and that too if its Diwali there is no second thought. There has been lot of shopping happening for a wedding that I have to attend next month. So the result - I am very happy!!

I got it only now & I did not want to delay the post. I picked up the shade Lincoln Rose which is apt for the festive season.

Packaging of Loreal Paris Moist matte Lipstick in Lincoln Rose :
The lipstick comes in the usual twist up tube packaging in a very elegant casing. The place where the lid & the bottom case lock, there is a portion that indicates the color of the lipstick. But unfortunately the color of the lipstick bullet does not match the one indicated outside, so do not go by it. The shade number & name is indicated at the bottom of the tube. The packaging is simple yet classy with a glossy finish tube.

Shade & Pigmentation of Lincoln Rose :
Lincoln Rose is a beautiful reddish pink shade which is my absolute favorite among lipsticks. I prefer coral or reddish pink shades the most and I can carry them confidently.
The shade appears like a beautiful red on the lips and photographs in a similar manner.The lipstick is intensely pigmented and one swipe can give enough color for a day to day use and multiple swipes would be ideal for special occasions.

Staying Power of Loreal Moist Matte Lincoln Rose Lipstick :
I used one swipe & blended it nicely using a lip brush and it stayed for about 3 hours in tact.I had a full meal after that and at the end of 4 hours, it left a mild uniform pink stain on my lips. If i had avoided the eating part, I am sure it would have stayed for 5 hours. In love with the staying power because I do not like re applying lipsticks.
Texture of Loreal Paris Moist Matte Lincoln Rose :
Moist Matte lipstick has a absolutely light weight texture and it does not dry out the lips. The lipstick does not bleed nor settle into fine lines though being a dark shade. The finish is matte but definitely a hydrating matte.In fact even without a lip balm it did not dry out my lips. I would always recommend applying a lip balm before you start wearing your makeup so that your lips would be hydrated by the time you apply lipstick.
