When your motivation level drops down :
Just go grab a chocolate & you will feel a lot better - says my mind ,
Just go grab a bag & go out for shopping says my heart.
Finally I succumb to my heart's desire and give myself some retail therapy which definitely keeps me going.
On such a day, I stepped out with a list & a budget in mind, to Sephora and ensured I stuck to the budget & at the same time got all my makeup cravings satiated.
How does retail therapy help you stay motivated ?
More products to test would in turn mean more products to write about & thereby, I don't have to sit & break my head as to what to write about. Isn't this better than emotional eating & gaining a few pounds ?

I went into Sephora with a fixed budget and also some basic idea as to what products I needed.
Shopping Rule No 1 : Do not buy things that you will not be using or needing.
I wanted a new mascara since my Faces one was already 6 months old and it was time to bid farewell to her.I also wanted a bright pink blush since I have always stuck to coral shade blushes and thought I needed some change in my style.
I have quite a lot of good eyeshadows but I needed a good base for them to show up well on my eyelids & stay there for a longer time.
Last but not the least, I had read a lot of reviews of products from this brand called Soap & Glory for a long time and decided to get something from that brand.

I got this Skin color eye shadow base from NYX & have been loving this product since then.

Soap & Glory haul from Sephora :
From Soap & Glory, I got their Body Buff containing Babassu Oil & Sea Salt, that smells amazing and leaves your skin super smooth. The fragrance reminds me of my old Armani perfume and I got just the 50 ml jar, because I wanted to see how the product works on my skin before I invest in a big jar.

To sum it up , I spent about 55 SGD for 4 products that seem to be working good for me and individual reviews will be up on the blog in the following days.
I also have a Sephora Loyalty card & my points are also going up which would mean a gift sooner or later. :)
