Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask |
The Freeman Counter at the stores attracts me every time I cross it because of the colorful new launches and the attractive range that they offer. I keep seeing new launches every time I go to the store but I refrain from buying more because I am determined to finish off the existing ones. They have several interesting scrubs and face masks that combine several quirky ingredients to deliver good results and at the same time are affordable too.
I have reviewed some Freeman products on the blog earlier and you can check them out here & here. Today I will be reviewing a scrub/ mask from Freeman called Charcoal and Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask.
About Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask from the brand:
Pollution…debris…it's a wonder skin can breathe! This unique mask and scrub work double time to detox skin. First, naturally purifying Activated Charcoal helps absorb oil and impurities without over-drying. Then, Black Sugar helps exfoliate away dulling skin cells for softness and clarity. Perfect for all skin types.
Directions: Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. Leave on for 5 to 7 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Use 2 times a week or as often as needed. |
Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask Benefits |
My review of Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask:
The Freeman mask comes in a black plastic tube which eases the use of the mask but the lid does not close tightly. I am not a big fan of their packaging because the lid does not close tightly in any of their packages but I love how colorful their packaging is.
The scrub cum mask looks like chunks of sugar and charcoal mixed and has a coarse texture but at the same time does not wither down while applying on the face. When you apply the mask, it feels really warm on your skin which can be a very strange feeling at first and then it kind of cools down after 5 minutes.
The mask can be left for about 15 minutes and then washed away or just used as a scrub to exfoliate your skin. I usually leave it for 15 minutes and gently rub it and wash it off. My face felt a lot brighter when I used this mask and I would not call it a great buy but something to definitely try for those seeking some tryst with charcoal.
The mask helps in removing dirt and oil from your pores because of the presence of the charcoal and the sugar helps in removing any dry and dull skin. My skin felt a lot softer and smoother when I used it and I loved how my face looked a lot brighter. The mask can be a little too harsh for people with dry skin and you can limit it to once a week. Those with oily skin can use this for about 2 times a week.
