The packaging of the NYX blush is elegant in a full black plastic casing and is quite sturdy. The shade name is indicated at the back of the casing and the blush comes with a mirror inside, which is really useful while travelling.

The shade is a bright, blue-based, pink and purple combination which looks quite striking at first but when the brush is swirled uniformly in the blush and applied, it looks really beautiful.
The shade makes my face look bright and it kind of contours my face too. It will be a perfect shade for the spring & summer seasons and I am totally liking how it looks on my NC 40 yellow skin tone.The texture of the blush is really smooth which makes the application so even. It also does not feel chalky and is a breeze to work with as well as blend on the face. The blush does not have any sheen to it and gives a matte look, so those who of you who prefer a sheen to your skin can add a few drops of highlighter to your cheekbones.
Staying Power of NYX Ombre blush in Code Breaker:
The blush stayed on me for a solid 9 hours with lots of walking and exposure to the sun. I am totally flattered by the staying power and highly recommend this blush to my readers who do not like reapplication of their makeup, just like me. One small swirl into the blush gives a decent color pay off and is enough to stay for 9 hours and I feel this is one of the best blushes I have tried so far.
