Inglot Freedom System Matte Black eyeshadow in the shade 63 |
A Black eyeshadow is not just for a Black smokey eye - a myth that I thought it was, got busted when I started watching YouTube videos. I began realizing how many of them use eye shadow as an eyeliner especially for the lower lash line and how it helps seal the liner better without smudging. In fact, this is just one example that I could think of when it comes to a matte black eyeshadow.
I have today with me a Black eye shadow from Inglot and let me also talk about some of its interesting uses :
Inglot Freedom System Single Eyeshadow in the shade 63:
Packaging :
Inglot Freedom system eye shadow square refills need a palette to be placed securely and they are very compact. The shade numbers and the quantity are indicated at the back of the pan and every time you need it flip it to see the shade number for any reference(ideally not a good idea).
Pigmentation and Shade 63:
The shade no 63 is a matte black eyeshadow that delivers a jet black color in one swipe. The powder is finely milled and at the same time, there is not much fallout considering the fact that it is a matte black eyeshadow. The shade instantly gets transferred to the eyelids from the brush and delivers a decent black shade on the first swipe. In order to achieve a dark, uniform, jet black shade, do use 2 to 3 patting motions of the brush. A flat shader brush works best to transfer the right amount of eyeshadow onto the eyelids.
Staying Power of the eyeshadow:
The eyeshadow stays intact for about 5 hours and then slowly starts to fade out if directly used on the eyelids. If a good primer is used underneath, the eyeshadow has very less fallout while applying and at the same time stays for about 7 hours intact.
Uses of the Inglot Matte Black eyeshadow:
1: Can be used for creating a black smokey eye.
2: Can be used for lining the lower waterline if you do not want to use a kajal.
3: The Inglot black eyeshadow can also be used as an eyebrow filler for those with darker brows.
4: It can be used on top of a gel liner/pencil liner to keep the liner in place and to prevent smudging.
